The Fridge-tag family of devices attempts to download as an external drive. Please see below for some troubleshooting tips:
- When the device is plugged into an open USB port:
- Does the screen of the device show “USB” and arrows moving across the top?
- If yes: What does the screen show when this process stops?
- Does it show “USB” and a checkmark? Or does it go back to the main screen?
- If no: Does the screen flash when the device is plugged into the USB port?
- If yes: What does the screen show when this process stops?
- If the device does show “USB” and a checkmark after download has finished:
- Please check “My Computer” or similar for an external device named “FT2L” or Fridge-tag 2L. Sometimes the reports will not automatically open in their own window.
- If the computer states the device failed to download or the device is not recognized:
- Please contact your IT support as the network security settings are blocking the device from downloading.
- Alternatively you can try to download the device on a computer that is not connected to your office network.
- Does the screen of the device show “USB” and arrows moving across the top?
